Acrosun UC250X controller

The Acrosun UC250X controller is designed for outdoor use with IP65 protection rating, avoiding direct sunlight.

LED Indicators

The controller has LED indicators to show if it has:

• DC power supply (photovoltaic or batteries) and/or AC power supply (generator or mains)
• Delayed start
• Full tank
• Operating mode (DC-AC-Auto)
• On and off

Operating Modes

• Selectable with a button
• DC Mode, only works with Photovoltaic
• AC Mode, only works with alternating current, either from mains or a generator
• Automatic Mode. If the voltage is 50V, it will stop when...
• The controller has a dry contact output to start a generator when switching from DC to AC.
• It has a delayed start when switching from DC to AC to prevent the generator from starting and stopping frequently. The minimum operating time can be configured with the DIP switch, setting it to 0, 10, 20, or 30 minutes.

Full Tank Probe

• The controller can receive signals from 2 probes placed in the tank. It has 2 inputs, one NC (normally closed) or NO (normally open) depending on the probe type. If only a NO probe is used, the NC input must be bridged.
• If the tank is full, the pump stops. It starts running again after 7 minutes if the level has decreased. During these 7 minutes, the Tank Full indicator flashes.

Overvoltage Protection

• The motor will stop if the AC indicator flashes, indicating AC > 265V.
• The motor will stop if the DC indicator flashes, indicating DC > 480V.

It is recommended to complete this installation with a protection panel at the DC input with fuses, surge protector, and load disconnector. Similarly, protection is recommended at the AC input.

It is very important for protection against direct contact to create a grounding network using 1 or 2 grounding rods and buried bare copper wire connecting the structure and frames of the panels.

The protection against dry well is built into the pump, thanks to StopFlow technology.
