Eastron SDM630 energy meter for Solax three-phase inverter

The meter is compatible with the Three-phase Inverters from the X3 range of Solax. With the meter, you can measure the exported or purchased energy, control the household consumption, or perform zero feed-in to the grid. If not purchased, it will only be possible to monitor the inverter's production.

This meter is exclusive to Solax. It is recommended to purchase it in the store together with the inverter. There are other SDM630 Modbus meters that are more economical but not compatible.

SDM630-Modbus is a direct measurement three-phase energy meter. This means that it must be connected in series with the power supply wiring of the panel, either after the main switch or before, so that it can measure all consumption.

Tax included

For the installation of the Eastron Energy Meter SDM630-Modbus, it will be wired from the inverter to the meter using rj45 cat 6 cable. The connection will be RS485 modbus, so the length of this cable could reach up to 1200m without losing signal. Pins 4 and 5 will be connected in the inverter to input A and B, respectively in the meter. It can only measure up to 100A, which would be equivalent to 22kw.
