The Smart Dongle Huawei WLAN-FE accessory is an intelligent communication accessory to provide WLAN and fast ethernet (FE) connection through an RJ45 connection. It allows connecting up to 10 compatible SUN2000 devices that are connected via RS485 cabling.
The single-phase inverters SUN2000L, SUN2000L1, and SUN2000M0 incorporate integrated wifi for commissioning and monitoring. This accessory would be necessary for commissioning and monitoring the SUN2000-12/15/17/20KTL-M0 models, as they do not have built-in wifi or dongle like the SUN2000-3/4/5/6/8/10KTL-M0 series.
The Smart Dongle Huawei WLAN-FE accessory is an intelligent communication expansion module that works with Huawei inverters to allow the inverters to communicate with the management system via WLAN or FE. It will provide FE (fast ethernet) connection through an RJ45 connection for a more stable and secure connection. In the SUN2000-12/15/17/20KTL-M0 and M2 series, a dongle is necessary for purchase for setup and monitoring, as there is no built-in WLAN or dongle.
The Dongle can be used for cascading connection of devices through RS485 communication (inverter cascaded connection or inverters cascaded with other devices). A maximum of 10 devices can be cascaded. When multiple inverters are cascaded, only one Smart Dongle or SmartLogger is allowed.
The cascading installation option is also valid for the SUN2000L1 single-phase series when an inverter with power greater than 6kw is required.
