Victron MultiPlus-II 48/3000 48V 35-32
The MultiPlus-II is an inverter/charger capable of operating with grid power or in standalone mode. It combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid all in one unit.
It can be combined with grid-tied photovoltaic inverters (self-consumption) or MPPT solar charge controllers.
By adding this inverter/charger to a self-consumption photovoltaic installation, we can store excess solar energy in batteries to later use that stored energy when needed to power loads.
Operates as a UPS in the event of a power outage with a transfer time of less than 20 milliseconds.

Applications:
The MultiPlus-II is designed for self-consumption or off-grid installations where more connectivity with other devices, such as Smart regulators or lithium batteries, is needed.
By adding this inverter/charger to a self-consumption photovoltaic installation, we can store surpluses in batteries to later use that accumulated energy when needed.
Parallelizable:
Practically unlimited power thanks to parallel and three-phase operation.
Up to 6 Multiplus units can operate in parallel to achieve higher output power.
In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output.
ESS: Energy Storage System:
There are different possible system configurations, more detailed information can be found in the ESS Design and Configuration Manual.
Grid-connected topology with PV inverter:
PV energy is directly converted into AC. The MultiPlus-II will use excess photovoltaic energy to charge the batteries or to return energy to the grid, and will discharge the battery or use grid energy to supplement the lack of photovoltaic energy. In case of a power outage, the MultiPlus-II will disconnect from the grid and continue to power the loads.
Grid-parallel topology with MPPT solar charge controller:
The MultiPlus-II will use data from the external AC current sensor (which must be ordered separately) or from the energy meter to optimize self-consumption and, if necessary, avoid returning excess solar energy to the grid. In case of a power outage, the MultiPlus-II will continue to power critical loads.
Standard mobile application or off-grid with external current sensor
Maximum current sensor range: 50A and 100A respectively.
Marine, mobile or off-grid standard electrical grid application
Loads that should be turned off when AC input power is not available can be connected to a second output (not shown in the image). The PowerControl and PowerAssist functions will take into account these loads to limit the AC input current to a safe value when there is AC current.
VRM Portal
Includes free web-based remote monitoring and tracking, can display all system data in a comprehensive graphical format. System settings can be remotely adjusted through the portal. Email alerts can be received.
