Color Control GX
The Color Control GX (CCGX) offers intuitive control and monitoring of all Victron electrical systems. The list of Victron products that can be connected is endless: Inverters, Multis, Quattros, MPPT solar chargers, BMV battery monitors, Lynx Ion + Shunt, and more.
VRM Online Portal
In addition to monitoring and controlling products locally on the CCGX itself, it also sends all readings to our free remote monitoring website: the VRM Online Portal.
Remote Console on VRM
Monitor, control, and configure the CCGX remotely over the Internet. Everything can be done remotely, just as if you had the device in front of you. The same functionality is also available on the local network, Remote Console over LAN.
Automatic Generator Start/Stop
A highly customizable start/stop system. It uses the state of charge, voltage, load, and other parameters. Define a set of special rules for off-peak hours and optionally a monthly test run.
ESS Control - Energy Storage System
The CCGX manages the energy in an ESS system.
Data Logging
When connected to the Internet, all data is sent to the VRM portal. If there is no internet connection available, the CCGX will store the data internally for 48 hours. If a micro SD card or USB memory is inserted, more data can be stored. These files can be uploaded to the VRM portal or converted offline with the VictronConnect App for analysis.
Compatible Products
- Multis and Quattros, including three-phase and split-phase systems. Monitoring and control (On/Off and current limiter). It is possible to change the settings (only remotely via the Internet, not offline).
- BlueSolar MPPT solar chargers with VE.Direct port.
- BlueSolar MPPT 150/70 and MPPT 150/85 with VE.Can port.
- SmartSolar MPPT 150/70 and MPPT 150/100 with VE.Can port. If multiple BlueSolar MPPT or SmartSolar MPPT with VE.Can are used in parallel, all combined information will be displayed. Also check out our blog on synchronizing multiple BlueSolar MPPT 150/70 solar chargers.
- BMV-700 family can be directly connected to the CCGX VE.Direct ports. Use the VE.Direct cable for this purpose.
- BMV-600 family can be connected to the CCGX VE.Direct ports. An accessory cable is required for this.

- A USB GPS can be connected to the USB port. The location and speed can be viewed on the screen, and the data will be sent to the VRM Portal for tracking purposes. The map on the VRM will show the last location.
- Fronius FV inverters When more than two VE.Direct products need to be connected, it can be done with USB.
Internet Connection
The CCGX can be connected to the Internet via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. To connect via Wi-Fi, a Wi-Fi USB accessory is required.
The CCGX does not have an internal cellular modem: there is no SIM card slot. Use a GPRS or 3G router available in stores.
