Microinverters must be acquired with a communication unit ECU. In addition to monitoring the equipment, it is necessary to configure the network code and update the firmware. To exercise the warranty, it is necessary to have the communication unit installed.
Technical characteristics
APsystems' ECU, our cutting-edge energy communication unit, is the information portal for our microinverters. The unit collects performance data from each individual microinverter module and transfers this information to a real-time Internet database, requiring only a single data and power cable. Through the APsystems EMA software, APsystems' ECU provides you with precise analysis of each microinverter and module in your solar installation from any web-connected device. APsystems ECU's integrated http web server offers the simplest and most flexible network integration of any data logger on the market. The browser-based user-friendly interface allows you to access your solar array in seconds.
It does not allow monitoring of the energy fed into or bought from the grid, or household consumption. If you want to have this monitoring capability, you must purchase the ECU-C
This model is a reduced version of the ECU-R. The difference between the R and the B is that the B does not have an RJ-45 output for Ethernet and is limited to monitoring only 4 panels.
Another advantage is that it allows access to each microinverter for maintenance tasks, as well as system updates. These tasks will be carried out remotely by EMA's technical support.
Warranty
The communication system comes with a 3-year warranty. The warranty will apply as long as the device has been used following the recommendations and respecting compatibility between the parts.
At El Almacén fotovoltaico you can purchase the inverter separately or buy a kit for your self-consumption installation along with panels, structure, panels, wiring, and other accessories. This inverter offers one of the best quality-price ratios in the catalog.
