Since its foundation, Longi has only manufactured with Mono Perc technology, giving it a competitive advantage over other companies. For years, it has been the leading manufacturer of Modules according to the Tier 1 list, and has vertically integrated the complete module manufacturing process, from ingot and cell manufacturing. Its solar cell production is double its module production capacity, which they sell to other module assemblers. This vertical integration allows for better product quality control.
This exceptional module is built with M10 182mm solar cells. Its half-cut construction offers improved performance in shading conditions. This new cell format is set to become the standard in photovoltaic module construction, ensuring compatibility with other modules in the coming years.
The maximum current Impp of this panel under STC conditions is 12.90A, with a short-circuit current Isc of 13.60A. It is compatible with most inverters, with the only precaution being that the inverter's Isc is lower than that of the panel. If the maximum current the inverter can handle is lower, as is the case with the Huawei L1 which can handle 12.5A, the inverter will only output that maximum current. This may result in a maximum power loss, provided the STC conditions are met. To achieve the 1000w/m2 under STC conditions, they will only occur at lower latitudes in a few months of the year, as long as the panel's inclination and orientation are optimal, so the annual energy loss can be negligible.
