The SunBox Series Smart 5.0 from Turbo Energy is an All in One inverter designed for both off-grid and grid-connected residential installations. It is a fully-installed cabinet that includes a Turbo Energy Single Phase Hybrid Series 48V 5.0 inverter (HIS5000/48) and is ready to accommodate up to 15.3 kWh of batteries.

It has a color LCD screen for equipment monitoring and programming without the need for a mobile app or computer. This sets it apart from its competitors, as the trend seems to be towards inverters without screens.
The new improved version supports an input of 13A for each of the 2 MPPTs, making it compatible with the new 182-cell panels.
It has a switch to change from grid to isolated mode, allowing the user to decide at all times how to manage their installation.
Another function is the option of Peak Shaving. When the load exceeds the contracted nominal power or the nominal power of the generator, it activates the inverter battery output to prevent exceeding it.
Within the versatility of the SunBox, there is the possibility of connecting other batteries or an external power generator, so it can be used both to charge our system and to provide the necessary energy to our installation.
On the downside, it includes a fan as a complement to passive cooling, which activates when the inverter has high demand. While it may produce some noise, it extends the inverter's lifespan.
The inverter is designed to operate with or without batteries. When using batteries, it can charge and discharge up to 100A. It includes a backup output of 100A. The batteries are 48V low voltage.
The Backup output allows critical loads to be always connected to this output. In case of a power outage, the Backup output has a 4ms switching speed, making it suitable for protecting computer equipment, among others.
The inverter incorporates a BMS that monitors the operation of the lithium battery and prevents it from operating beyond the designed parameters. Through the CAN port, it communicates with compatible batteries for proper operation and monitoring.

Accessories:
For household consumption measurement, an indirect measurement toroidal is included to read imported or exported energy. If the connection to the inverter is far away, an energy meter can be installed, wired by cable using RS-485 protocol.

The Turbo Energy Series 5000W 48V 5.0 inverter features a color LCD screen for real-time monitoring, wireless connection via included wifi pocket, communications via RS485 port. It communicates wirelessly with our mobile terminal for startup and detailed monitoring.
Thanks to the Turbo Energy App, available for both IOS and Android, you can view your energy consumption from any device. Check the battery status, solar production, energy and environmental savings, as well as the percentage of savings on your bill.
The inverter comes with a 5-year warranty. The warranty applies as long as the device has been used following the recommendations and respecting the compatibility between parts.
The warranty is provided by the Spanish company Turbo Energy S.L based in Valencia.
The SunBox 5.0 has all the necessary certificates for its operation and legalization, regardless of the distribution company. It includes the CE marking, compliance with the RD1699 Grid Connection Regulation, safety regulations IEC/EN62109-1 & -2, EMC EN61000-6-1, EN61000-6-2, EN61000-6-3, EN61000-6-4, EN61000-4-16, EN61000-4-18, and EN61000-4-29.
